I have been on a black and white kick lately. I am not exactly sure how I got on this particular kick. It might have something to do with the two black and white border collies laying at my feet while I edit pictures. Here are some of my favorites from the past month. Happy weekend!

Deedee and Sean

Here is a short video from Deedee and Sean's wedding. The details at the wedding amazed me! I think every couple should have a wedding monogram! It tied everything together, from favors, to the ceremony site, to bottles of water on the patio. Their wedding took place on the tale end of an August heat wave. While we did get minor relief from the heat, I have to give Deedee and Sean points for still wanting to brave the heat and really take advantage of the beautiful urban area.

This was a lovely wedding. A true celebration. Thanks for including me, Sean and Deedee.

Some Learning | Jill Heupel Photography

I had the opportunity to have a classroom day with some of the 'Greats' in my field. Kelly Manno, Jasmine Star, and Kelly Park were all presenting! Hearing Jasmine talk will be something I remember for the rest of my life. I am coming out of the workshop day full of inspiration and ideas. I can't wait to rock my next wedding! I am dying to get my hands on a sleepy newborn! And the next senior I am working with... Oh the ideas are endless right now!

Here are some of my images from the shooting portion of the day. As you can see in the bottom picture, there are about 40 of us working with one set of models at a time. It can get a little cut throat down front, but it is always neat to look at what other photogs come up with, from the very same set up.

I am inspired. I have learned. I am ready to take what I have learned and rock some photos. And I am really lovin' life. ;)
